Minogue 'deeply touched' by her OBE
Kylie Minogue has been awarded an OBE in British World-beater Elizabeth II's Fresh Year's Honours degree Name.
Minogue, 39, said she was "profoundly touched" to get the prize from the rural area she calls her adopted place.
The star thanked her British people fans for their erotic love and documentation during her convalescence from breast cancer.
The OBE comes closely 20 eld since 'I Should Be So Lucky' became the singer's first UK Number One.
Speechmaking from Commonwealth of Australia, she said: "I am nearly as surprised as I am honoured to be awarded an OBE by Her Stateliness The Queen.
"I sense deeply touched to be acknowledged by the UK, my adopted home, in this way.
"This final stage year I have matte so much love and supporting from everyone as I took greater stairs back into the public domain of a function, and it is with absolute gratitude and joy that I aver farewell to 2007 and appear ahead to what the Newly Twelvemonth will bring."
The 39-year-old singer spent the Christmas holiday in Melbourne with her family line.
